Maintenance Technician
About the job:
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on
equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Holds a high school diploma or GED (technical training or certification preferred)
● Has experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar industrial or manufacturing role
● Has experience working in startup companies or fast-paced manufacturing environments
(preferred)
● Has experience assembling, installing, and maintaining production equipment and
machinery
● Demonstrates knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and
HVAC systems
● Can read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
● Has experience using maintenance software or CMMS systems (preferred)
● Demonstrates strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
● Is committed to workplace safety and following OSHA regulations and company policies
● Has HVAC certification, an electrical license, welding experience, or forklift certification
(preferred)
● Has experience supporting equipment installations, facility expansions, or startup
operations (preferred)
What you’ll do:
● Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems
● Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC
equipment
● Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
● Install, assemble, modify, and commission new and existing machinery and equipment
● Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and inventory documentation
● Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
● Coordinate with outside contractors and service vendors as needed
● Maintain clean, organized, and safe maintenance work areas
● Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
● Ensure compliance with safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements
● Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
