About the job:

The Human Resources Manager oversees day-to-day HR operations, partners with leadership to
support employees, and ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies while
fostering a positive workplace culture.

We’re looking for someone who:

● Has prior Human Resources management or senior-level HR experience
● Has experience supporting manufacturing, cosmetics, beauty, personal care,
pharmaceutical, consumer products, or other regulated industries (preferred)
● Demonstrates strong knowledge of federal and New Jersey employment laws and HR
compliance requirements
● Has experience managing employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance
management
● Has experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives
● Is proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications (preferred)
● Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment when handling sensitive employee
information
● Has strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
● Works collaboratively with leadership while building positive employee relationships
● Holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
(preferred)
● Holds a SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification (preferred)

What you’ll do:

● Manage daily Human Resources operations and provide support to employees and
leadership
● Serve as a resource for HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters
● Lead employee relations activities, including coaching, investigations, corrective actions,
and conflict resolution
● Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee retention efforts
● Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
● Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
● Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing, employee development, and
performance management
● Administer HR programs including benefits, leave administration, and workers’
compensation
● Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies
● Promote a positive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture
● Support additional Human Resources initiatives and projects as assigned
