Tube Laser Operator
About the job:
The Tube Laser Operator is responsible for setting up and operating tube laser equipment to
produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety, efficiency, and production standards.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has experience operating CNC laser equipment or working in a metal fabrication
environment (preferred)
● Has experience operating TRUMPF tube laser equipment (highly preferred)
● Can read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
● Understands basic dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements
● Has experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
● Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
● Has basic computer skills
● Is able to troubleshoot basic machine and production issues
● Works independently while contributing to a team environment
● Is committed to maintaining a safe and organized work area
What you’ll do:
● Set up and operate tube laser equipment safely and efficiently
● Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
● Verify material type, size, thickness, and job requirements before production
● Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications
● Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
● Monitor cut quality and make machine adjustments as needed
● Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and cutting issues
● Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards
● Complete production, inspection, and material documentation accurately
● Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance
● Report equipment, quality, material, and production issues promptly
● Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
