About the job:

The Community Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of residential housing
communities by assisting with resident services, leasing administration, compliance activities, and
property operations.

We’re looking for someone who:

● Holds a high school diploma or equivalent
● Has 2+ years of experience in property management, leasing, administrative support,
customer service, or a related field
● Provides excellent customer service and communicates professionally with residents,
visitors, and team members
● Has experience using office software, databases, or property management systems
● Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Is able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
● Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment
● Has strong written and verbal communication skills
● Works collaboratively and contributes to a team-oriented environment
● Is familiar with Fair Housing laws, ADA requirements, and housing compliance requirements
(preferred)
● Has experience with property management systems such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar
platforms (preferred)
● Has experience working in residential property management or student housing
environments (preferred)
● Holds an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public
Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred)

What you’ll do:

● Provide customer service to residents, prospective residents, and visitors
● Monitor property email inboxes and route communications appropriately
● Support leasing activities including move-ins, move-outs, roommate changes, lease
renewals, and resident inquiries
● Assist with resident recertifications, eligibility verification, and housing documentation
● Coordinate the Guest Suite program, including reservations, scheduling, and supply
management
● Answer phones, greet visitors, and support front office operations
● Maintain accurate resident records, lease files, and documentation
● Monitor activity within the property management system and ensure timely updates
● Support the issuance and tracking of lease violations, notices, and follow-up actions
● Participate in property inspections, compliance reviews, and risk mitigation efforts
● Create and schedule work orders as requested

● Support peak turnover periods through inspections, file preparation, resident
communication, and leasing activities
● Assist with community events and resident engagement initiatives
● Promote a positive and respectful living environment
● Perform additional duties as assigned
