About the job:

This role supports new product builds by assembling first-piece and prototype wire harnesses with high
precision and minimal supervision.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has 2–5 years of recent hands-on experience in wire harness assembly
  • Is highly skilled in soldering, crimping, stripping, and mechanical assembly
  • Understands IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards
  • Can read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and BOMs
  • Is comfortable mentoring junior team members and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Has strong time management and attention to detail
  • Can lift up to 25 lbs and work in a hands-on production environment
What you’ll do:
  • Assemble first-piece and prototype harnesses using technical drawings and work instructions
  • Apply quality standards and inspect own work using visual aids and checklists
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing feedback on documentation and build process
  • Identify design, documentation, or tooling issues and escalate as needed
  • Set up workstations and verify part counts before builds
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and maintain organized, safe work areas
  • Train and mentor newer assemblers on build quality and best practices
  • Perform basic testing, such as pull tests, as needed
