Assembler (Hardware)
About the job:
The Assembler is responsible for performing basic assembly and production tasks while
maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
● Does not require prior manufacturing or assembly experience
● Can operate a single process or machine with minimal assistance
● Understands basic safety and quality best practices for machinery and equipment
● Is familiar with hand tools and materials such as metals, plastics, or purchased components
● Has basic knowledge of inspection processes or tools used for assigned tasks
● Is comfortable with basic math and following verbal and written instructions
● Possesses basic computer skills
● Is flexible with variable schedules and can arrive promptly for shifts
● Is willing to be cross-trained in other departments during high-demand periods
● Is open to working in other areas as needed
What you’ll do:
● Read and follow written and verbal work instructions
● Assemble basic products while meeting cycle time requirements
● Inspect parts and materials to ensure quality standards are met
● Test finished products, mark parts as required, and package items for shipment
● Maintain accurate records of production quantities and time
● Inventory parts and tools used during the assembly process
● Identify and report equipment issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to leadership
● Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and attention to detail
● Practice 6S and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
● Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
● Support team efforts by completing related tasks as needed
