SMT Operator
About the job:
The SMT Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining surface mount
technology equipment to ensure efficient and accurate PCB assembly.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has prior experience operating SMT or Mydata machinery
● Can read and interpret blueprints and electronic schematics
● Is familiar with screen printers and reflow ovens
● Holds a high school diploma or equivalent
● Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
● Pays close attention to detail and quality standards
● Can manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
What you’ll do:
● Set up and operate SMT pick-and-place equipment (e.g., Fuji, Mydata)
● Load components and ensure accurate placement on printed circuit boards
● Troubleshoot machine issues including jams, misfeeds, and placement errors
● Inspect finished products to ensure quality and production standards are met
● Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of SMT machines
● Maintain accurate production records and logs
