Production Coordinator
About the job:
The Production Coordinator oversees production scheduling, material planning, and workflow
coordination to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on-time customer deliveries.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has 2–3 years of experience in production coordination, manufacturing, or a related
operations role
● Holds a high school diploma (Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business,
Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred)
● Has experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Sage or similar software
● Demonstrates advanced Microsoft Excel skills
● Has experience with production scheduling, inventory tracking, and manufacturing
workflows
● Is highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills
● Communicates effectively with production, purchasing, customer service, and logistics
teams
● Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Has knowledge of packaging, printing, die-cutting, or manufacturing processes (preferred)
● Is bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
What you’ll do:
● Create, maintain, and update daily and weekly production schedules
● Coordinate production activities to support on-time customer deliveries
● Monitor raw material inventory and help prevent production shortages
● Review production work orders to ensure accuracy before manufacturing begins
● Coordinate communication between production, engineering, purchasing, logistics, and
customer service teams
● Track production performance, machine output, scrap, and operational metrics
● Assist in resolving production delays and adjusting schedules as needed
● Coordinate with vendors to ensure production tooling and materials are available on time
● Support quality initiatives by working with production and quality teams
● Promote a safe work environment by ensuring safety procedures and PPE requirements are
followed
● Maintain accurate production records and planning documentation
