About the job:

The Controller will lead core accounting and financial management functions while supporting operational growth, compliance, and business decision-making. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial processes, improve reporting capabilities, and drive operational efficiency across U.S. locations.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA strongly preferred
  • Has 8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including public accounting experience
  • Brings experience working in multi-site, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environments
  • Has international business experience throughout their career
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks
  • Is highly proficient in Excel, financial modeling, ERP systems, and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, or Qlik
  • Has experience leveraging technology to streamline, automate, and improve accounting and operational processes
  • Collaborates effectively across departments and supports strategic business decisions
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, team development, and people management skills
  • Excels at analytical thinking, problem-solving, and maintaining attention to detail
  • Is comfortable working onsite in Fremont, CA, or Indianapolis, IN
  • Has experience in fast-growing or technology-enabled organizations (preferred)
  • Has experience with UKG systems (preferred)
What you’ll do:
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, AP/AR, fixed assets, and month-end close
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and standardized financial procedures
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with actionable financial insights
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, program management, and external stakeholders to improve efficiency and margins
  • Manage annual financial audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
  • Support ERP enhancements, reporting improvements, and automation initiatives
  • Assist with treasury activities, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Lead process optimization initiatives and support the development of a high-performing finance organization
  • Drive continuous improvement through training, resource optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives
