About the job:

The Buyer will manage purchasing activities for PCBA components, working with suppliers to
secure favorable pricing and ensure materials are delivered on time.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a high school diploma or equivalent experience
• Has strong communication and negotiation skills
• Is detail-oriented and highly organized
• Is familiar with Microsoft Excel
• Can manage supplier relationships and purchasing activities effectively
• Has experience with supplier evaluation and performance tracking (preferred)
• Has experience with PCBA components or electronics manufacturing (preferred)

What you’ll do:

• Purchase PCBA components for production and prototype builds
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers
• Track supplier orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain the Approved Vendor List
• Evaluate and rate supplier performance
• Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) when necessary
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve purchasing and delivery issues
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Support purchasing activities to keep production and prototype builds on schedule
