About the job:

The QC Inspector leads the quality team while ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has a high school diploma or GED
  • Has prior manufacturing and quality assurance experience
  • Is IPC-610 trained with knowledge of soldering and electronic component recognition
  • Can read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), datasheets, and specifications
  • Has experience using hand measuring tools, test equipment, and microscopes
  • Can accurately document inspection and test results
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Is comfortable training, coaching, and supervising quality assurance personnel
  • Can investigate customer concerns and implement corrective actions
  • Is able to work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Program Management, Sales, Customers, and Suppliers
  • Is available to work overtime as needed
  • Is familiar with quality management systems such as J-STD-001, ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 (preferred)
What you’ll do:
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Quality Assurance department
  • Monitor production and inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Train, coach, and support Quality Assurance team members
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with suppliers to maintain incoming material quality
  • Perform first article inspections and report material, process, or design discrepancies
  • Conduct in-process inspections and quality audits using customer documentation and IPC workmanship standards
  • Perform final inspections to verify products meet customer requirements before shipment
  • Complete receiving inspections of mechanical and electrical materials
  • Maintain quality records and evaluate supplier performance
  • Interpret customer documentation, drawings, BOMs, and specifications to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes
  • Cross-train in other quality functions and perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
