About the job:

The Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivable leads accounts receivable and revenue accounting activities while ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely collections, and efficient accounting processes.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Has 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with strong accounts receivable and revenue accounting expertise
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including complex journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Has an advanced understanding of accounts receivable processes and revenue-related transactions
  • Has experience working with ERP systems (Oracle or similar preferred)
  • Is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables, along with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excels at analyzing financial data, solving problems, and managing multiple priorities
  • Pays close attention to detail while consistently meeting deadlines with accurate, high-quality work
  • Communicates effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Works independently while collaborating effectively across departments
  • Handles confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity
What you’ll do:
  • Lead the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, customer setup, credit reviews, aging analysis, and account maintenance
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Commercial teams, and other stakeholders to resolve accounts receivable and revenue-related issues
  • Perform and review monthly accounts receivable reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to accounts receivable and revenue
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries related to accounts receivable, revenue, and cash
  • Maintain compliance with revenue recognition policies and support strong internal controls
  • Lead or assist with ERP enhancements, testing, implementations, and process improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a primary contact for internal and external audits related to accounts receivable and revenue
  • Prepare financial reports, analyses, and recommendations for leadership
  • Participate in special projects and support additional accounting initiatives as needed
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to less experienced accounting team members
