Senior Partner Support Engineer
About the job:
The Senior Partner Support Engineer provides high-level technical support to embedded partners,
troubleshooting complex API and integration issues.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
● Has 5+ years of experience supporting customers or partners in a complex SaaS environment
● Has hands-on experience coding and debugging in at least two languages (e.g., Java,
JavaScript, Python, C#, Swift, Kotlin)
● Understands APIs, REST services, SSO, MDM, and web service protocols
● Is comfortable working with JSON, XML, and related data formats
● Excels at troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and documenting technical issues clearly
● Can manage multiple high-priority partner needs under SLA constraints
● Has experience driving issues through engineering teams using agile processes
● Works well cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Sales
● Is willing to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support
● (Preferred) Has FinTech experience
● (Preferred) Is familiar with accounting systems such as Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero
What you’ll do:
● Provide advanced technical support to embedded integration partners
● Troubleshoot and debug API, platform, and integration issues
● Triage and manage high-priority incidents to resolution within SLA
● Act as a liaison between partners, engineering, and internal support teams
● Support external developers building integrations on the platform
● Manage partner-facing technical projects and coordinate cross-company efforts
● Participate in on-call rotation to support incident response
● Document issues, solutions, and processes to improve support quality
● Advocate for partner and API needs as the platform evolves
● Contribute to service standards and continuous improvement initiatives
