About the job:
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components using hand tools, following documented instructions, and ensuring each product meets required specifications. This role supports the production of high-quality mechanical systems.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is entry-level, but prior PCB mechanical assembly experience is a plus
- Has basic computer literacy
- Has attention-to-detail
- Can distinguish colors and read small symbols
- Can sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Works independently while maintaining safety standards
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information
What you’ll do:
- Read and follow bills of materials, product travelers, and assembly instructions
- Confirm prior steps are completed before starting your task
- Organize and audit materials before beginning each build
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, etc.
- Assemble mechanical products accurately and efficiently
- Use torque calibration and verification equipment
- Mask and de-mask circuit boards for conformal coating when required
