About the job:
The Manufacturing Technician I supports engineering teams by performing thermal measurements and qualification testing on rack-mounted computing products. This hands-on role involves test setup, data collection, and operating test equipment in both Linux and Windows environments.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a high school diploma
- Holds an associate degree in Engineering Technology or a skilled trade certification (preferred)
- Has hands-on experience with thermocouples and thermal measurement
- Is comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments
- Has fluency using the Linux command line
- Has experience operating environmental chambers
- Has experience building or assembling personal computers
- Is mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Can lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
What you’ll do:
- Perform temperature measurements by attaching thermocouples to electronic devices
- Operate data acquisition equipment such as Keysight loggers
- Run qualification and functional tests on products and equipment
- Analyze system and product performance during testing
- Assemble and disassemble prototypes using hand tools
- Start, stop, and monitor test tools in Linux and Windows environments
- Collect and organize test data logs and provide results to engineering team members
- Program and operate environmental chambers for thermal testing
- Observe, document, and report unexpected results or improvement opportunities
- Inspect measurement tools and perform basic maintenance or replacement as needed
- Review product designs to identify potential issues or errors
