About the job:

The Manufacturing Technician I supports engineering teams by performing thermal measurements and qualification testing on rack-mounted computing products. This hands-on role involves test setup, data collection, and operating test equipment in both Linux and Windows environments.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has a high school diploma
  • Holds an associate degree in Engineering Technology or a skilled trade certification (preferred)
  • Has hands-on experience with thermocouples and thermal measurement
  • Is comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Has fluency using the Linux command line
  • Has experience operating environmental chambers
  • Has experience building or assembling personal computers
  • Is mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • Can lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
What you’ll do:
  • Perform temperature measurements by attaching thermocouples to electronic devices
  • Operate data acquisition equipment such as Keysight loggers
  • Run qualification and functional tests on products and equipment
  • Analyze system and product performance during testing
  • Assemble and disassemble prototypes using hand tools
  • Start, stop, and monitor test tools in Linux and Windows environments
  • Collect and organize test data logs and provide results to engineering team members
  • Program and operate environmental chambers for thermal testing
  • Observe, document, and report unexpected results or improvement opportunities
  • Inspect measurement tools and perform basic maintenance or replacement as needed
  • Review product designs to identify potential issues or errors
