Financial Service Reps
About the job:
The Financial Service Representative supports branch growth and member retention by delivering
consultative financial service, processing transactions, and building long-term member
relationships.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Holds a high school diploma or equivalent
● Has at least 2 years of experience in a credit union or financial institution environment,
including customer service, cash handling, loan processing, and fiduciary account
exposure
● Demonstrates strong knowledge of deposit products, consumer and auto loans, retirement
accounts, and investment referrals
● Possesses strong verbal communication, organizational, and member service skills
● Is capable of meeting established sales and referral goals
● Has basic PC proficiency
● Is NMLS certified or able to obtain NMLS certification
● Is able to work established branch hours and travel to other branches as needed
● Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance awareness at all times
What you’ll do:
● Achieve individual and team sales and referral goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual
basis
● Assess member loan needs from application through closing and follow-up, including
consumer and auto loans
● Build and deepen member relationships by recommending appropriate deposit, loan,
retirement, and investment products
● Process teller transactions and support daily branch operations
● Balance and reconcile cash drawers and perform end-of-day functions
● Maintain knowledge of all products, services, procedures, and regulatory requirements
● Represent the credit union at sponsored business and community events to support growth
initiatives
● Cross-train team members and recommend process improvements to leadership
● Assist members with complex inquiries, including residential loans, fiduciary accounts, and
referrals to Wealth Management and Commercial Banking
● Maintain strict confidentiality and follow established cash handling and compliance
procedures
