About the job:

The Quality Technician II supports and executes key elements of the Quality Management System, including FAIR documentation, PPAP coordination, calibration control, and ESD compliance within an electronics manufacturing environment.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Holds an associate or bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Has 2–4 years of experience in a quality role within electronics manufacturing (PCBA, box build, or cable assemblies preferred)
  • Has strong working knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
  • Is experienced with PPAP documentation and submission processes
  • Understands calibration systems and measurement standards
  • Is familiar with ESD control standards such as ANSI/ESD S20.20
  • Can read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
  • Is familiar with IPC standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 (preferred)
  • Has experience with ERP/MRP and document control systems such as Arena (preferred)
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and an audit-ready mindset
  • Has solid problem-solving skills and can support root cause investigations
  • Communicates clearly and works effectively cross-functionally
What you’ll do:
  • Prepare and review AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports including ballooning, data validation, and package completeness
  • Coordinate PPAP submissions to ensure accuracy and customer compliance
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to support inspection and documentation
  • Manage calibration systems including scheduling, tracking, and compliance of M&TE
  • Interface with external calibration vendors and review certificates for accuracy
  • Perform audits of calibrated equipment and address out-of-tolerance or expired conditions
  • Serve as site ESD Coordinator or co-coordinator, conducting audits and maintaining program records
  • Support ESD training activities and corrective actions for noncompliance
  • Assist with internal, customer, and certification audits
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action related to quality issues
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to improve processes and resolve quality concerns
