Plant Supervisor
About the job:
The Plant Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe production, quality standards, process efficiency, and team performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has experience in manufacturing, production, or plant operations leadership
● Demonstrates strong leadership and team development skills
● Has experience promoting and maintaining workplace safety standards
● Understands manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality control
principles
● Possesses strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
● Can analyze production metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
● Has experience scheduling work and managing production priorities
● Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
● Is organized and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
● Is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
● Has knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices (preferred)
● Has experience with Process Safety Management PSM programs (preferred)
What you’ll do:
● Maintain a safe working environment and promote safe work practices throughout the
facility
● Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
● Assist in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes
● Support process testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
● Generate and maintain production records, reports, and documentation
● Develop, implement, and enforce quality procedures and standards
● Monitor production output, yields, efficiencies, and performance metrics
● Track scheduled and unscheduled downtime and identify opportunities for improvement
● Coordinate and schedule production runs to maximize efficiency and meet customer
requirements
● Ensure accurate and timely shipment of finished products
● Maintain plant security and facility access procedures
● Lead, direct, and support production team members to achieve operational goals
● Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
