About the job:

The EHS Manager leads environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance, chemical safety, and a safe manufacturing environment.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
  • Has 3+ years of EHS experience with a focus on environmental and chemical safety
  • Has strong knowledge of California regulatory agencies including DTSC, CUPA, RWQCB, CARB, and local Air Districts
  • Is experienced managing hazardous waste generator requirements and HazCom programs
  • Has hands-on EHS experience supporting manufacturing environments (preferred)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of OSHA standards and recordkeeping requirements
  • Has experience coordinating with Facilities and contractors on safety compliance (preferred)
  • Possesses strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Is able to conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions independently
  • Is comfortable supporting floor operations and mitigating hazards in real time
What you’ll do:
  • Lead site environmental compliance programs including air, water, waste, and hazardous materials
  • Ensure compliance with California environmental agencies and applicable regulations
  • Manage hazardous waste generator requirements and chemical handling programs
  • Maintain Hazardous Materials programs and support Proposition 65 compliance
  • Coordinate air permitting and emissions reporting as needed
  • Support stormwater and wastewater programs including SWPPP and BMP monitoring
  • Maintain inspection and audit readiness and manage corrective actions
  • Oversee chemical safety programs including HazCom, SDS management, storage, and labeling
  • Conduct chemical risk assessments and implement control measures
  • Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
  • Perform routine EHS audits, safety walkthroughs, and track resolution of findings
  • Partner with Facilities on building systems, ventilation, and life-safety systems
  • Support contractor safety and review facility or process changes for environmental impact
  • Deliver required EHS training and promote a strong safety culture across the site
