Credit Analyst

About the job:

The Credit Analyst will manage credit and AR activities while supporting shipments, customs resolution, and cross-functional order-to-cash operations. This role works closely with sales, logistics, and operations teams and reports to the Credit/AR Manager.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable, credit risk management, and AR aging
• Is comfortable following up on past-due invoices and supporting collection efforts
• Has strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills
• Is tech- and systems-savvy, with ERP experience (preferred)
• Has experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred)
• Communicates effectively across departments and with customers
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Is willing to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities
• Has experience supporting logistics, order management, or shipping operations (preferred)

What you’ll do:

• Reconcile, research, and resolve credit and billing discrepancies on customer AR accounts
• Post wire payments, process adjustments, and issue credit refunds for assigned accounts
• Perform customer account reconciliations and investigate irregularities
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve account-related issues
• Review sales forecasts and payment history to help determine appropriate credit limits
• Review and approve credit memos and RMA requests
• Follow up on past-due invoices and support collection activities
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including cash forecasts and AR aging reports
• Monitor shipments and work with customs brokers and consignees to resolve clearance issues
• Monitor shipment incident reports and take corrective action when exceptions occur
• Partner with operations on order entry and management, inventory, purchasing, shipping, and RMA activities
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations to resolve order-to-cash issues
• Support additional projects and duties as assigned
